Gnocchi
Ingredients
- 1 russet potato
- 1/2 cup flour
Directions
- Place potatoes in pot
- Fill water 1 inch above potatoes
- Heat on high until water starts to boil
- Boil for 20 minutes
- Drain water and let cool for 15 minutes
- Remove potato skin
- Put potatoes into bowl and mash
- Add flour
- Mix into dough
- Roll dough and cut into peices
- Place on sheet and put in freezer
- Let cool for over 20 minutes
- Transfer into storage bag and store in freezer
Cooking
- Heat water to boil
- Place gnocchi in boiling water
- Gnocchi will sink to bottom
- When gnocchi floats to the top it is ready
- Remove with strainer
