Directions
- Optional: freeze / thaw tofu for improved texture
- Prehead oven to 350 degrees
- Lay tofu flat, cut into 4 long slabs
- Cut each slab into 3 equal parts, making it even thinner
- Put tofu into pan and then pour in marinade mix
- Press parts of the tofu to help absorb the marinade
- Add tofu to bake pan
- Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees

Strategy
Since Tofurky is more expensive, more processed, and provides less protien than tofu, we are going to prep tofu every sunday and wednesday. This means that it will make sense to purchase 3-4 blocks of tofu for the week. this will make 6-8 days worth of tofu slices. Extra slices can be a quick snack. 3 slices of tofu will be added to wraps.
Also, we are no longer going to purchase follow your heart cheese. The new formula made it brittle, so it is no longer quick to add, and it is more expensive, more processed and less nutritious than nutritional yeast.
