Zeli (Saurkraut)
Ingredients
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1/8 cabbage, shredded
- 1/4 cup water (just enough to simmer)
- 1/4 tsp celery seeds (or some other seed)
- 1/4 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cup red wine vinegar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- (optional) 1/8 medium onion, chopped
Directions
- Brown onion in coconut oil (if using onion)
- Add all remaining ingredients
- Heat to simmer on high
- Reduce heat to low and cover
- Cook for 20 minutes
